Rep. Lucas Joins in Introducing Legislation to Help Alleviate Supply Chain Congestion

WASHINGTON, Nov. 17 -- Rep. Frank Lucas, R-Oklahoma, issued the following news release:
Recently, Congressman Frank Lucas (OK-03) joined in introducing the Truckers Responding At National Shipping Ports Overcoming Retail Turmoil (TRANSPORT) Act, sponsored by Congressman Tracey Mann (KS-01). The legislation would require the Secretary of Transportation to relieve congested ports during either a national state of emergency or when ports are congested by 50 percent or more.
