WASHINGTON, Nov. 8 -- Sen. Jon Ossoff, D-Georgia, issued the following news release:

U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff is working to surge support to hospitals across Georgia as they continue to face severe shortages of nurses and health care workers.

In a letter, Sen. Ossoff called on U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken to bolster the American medical system and address the ongoing shortages by recruiting qualified nurses and health care professionals from around the world.
