Sen. Portman, Colleagues Introduce Nord Stream 2 Amendment to NDAA

WASHINGTON, Nov. 9 -- Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senators Rob Portman (R-OH), Jim Risch (R-ID) John Barrasso (R-WY), Ron Johnson (R-WI), Tom Cotton (R-AR), and Ted Cruz (R-TX) introduced an amendment to the FY 2022 National Defense Authorization Act to stop the Nord Stream 2 (NS2) pipeline project. The amendment imposes mandatory sanctions on Nord Stream 2 AG, the Kremlin-owned company in charge of Putin's malign pipeline project.
