On Wednesday, U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) joined Sen. Steve Daines (R-Mont.) and 26 of their Senate Republican colleagues in introducing an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act for fiscal year 2022 to block President Biden's reported plan to spend upwards of a billion dollars to provide $450,000 per person in taxpayer money for settlements with illegal immigrants.
