WASHINGTON, Nov. 4 -- Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, R-West Virginia, issued the following news release on Nov. 3, 2021:
U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) released the below statement after voting not to advance the latest attempt by Senate Democrats to empower Washington, D.C. bureaucrats and federalize state voting laws. The legislation, like the two previous failed attempts, did not receive enough votes to advance.
