Sen. Collins Announces $35 Million in LIHEAP Funding for Maine

WASHINGTON, Nov. 2 -- Sen. Susan M. Collins, R-Maine, issued the following news release:

Following a bipartisan push by U.S. Senators Susan Collins (R-ME) and Jack Reed (D-RI), the State of Maine has been awarded a total of $35,028,729 through the Department of Health and Human Services' (HHS) Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), which provides funding to help low-income households pay their energy bills.
