Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., a senior member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, issued the following statement in response to the Supreme Court's decision not to hear arguments for releasing more public information about the secret Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA):
"The Supreme Court has made the deeply troubling judgment that the public has no right to the secret rulings . . .
