HONOLULU, Hawaii, Nov. 1 (TNSRes) -- The University of Hawaii issued the following news release:
The population of the endemic wekiu bug, which can only be found on pu'u (cinder cones) on the summit of Maunakea, remains healthy according to the insect captures recorded during the University of Hawaii at Hilo Center for Maunakea Stewardship's (CMS) annual arthropod monitoring surveys this year.
