HARTFORD, Connecticut, Nov. 1 -- Gov. Ned Lamont, D-Connecticut, issued the following news release on Oct. 30, 2021:
Governor Ned Lamont today announced that at his urging, President Joe Biden has approved his request for a presidential major disaster declaration due to the damage caused by the remnants of Hurricane Ida in early September.
