WASHINGTON, Oct. 30 -- The House Natural Resources Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests, and Public Lands issued the following testimony by Ron Barber, president of the January 8th Memorial Foundation Board, as part of an Oct. 14, 2021, virtual legislative hearing on a bill (H.R. 250) that would authorize the Secretary of the Interior to establish the Jan. 8 National Memorial in Tucson, Arizona, as an affiliated area of the National Park System:
