WASHINGTON, Oct. 29 (TNSJou) -- Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine issued the following news release:
Doctors and dietitians with the Physicians Committee, a nonprofit of 17,000 physician members, surveyed restaurants in five cities in the Southwestern United States and found that lard is still often a hidden ingredient in an otherwise healthful food--beans. The survey also found that lard is served to a greater degree in some cities than in others.
