PHOENIX, Arizona, Oct. 29 -- The Arizona Democratic Party issued the following news release on Oct. 28, 2021:

Republican Mayors Cathy Carlat (Peoria) and John Giles (Mesa) published an op-ed in the Arizona Republic endorsing President Joe Biden's Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal and larger Build Back Better agenda to "set partisanship aside" and "fix potholes in the largest sense possible."
