Pa. A.G. Shapiro Urges the U.S. Supreme Court to Halt Unconstitutional Texas Abortion Ban

HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania, Oct. 28 -- Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro issued the following news release on Oct. 27, 2021:

Attorney General Josh Shapiro today, along with 24 attorneys general, urged the United States Supreme Court to stop Texas' unconstitutional six-week abortion ban, Senate Bill 8 (S.B. 8), by vacating the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals' stay of a District Court order blocking the ban from going into effect.
