WASHINGTON, Oct. 27 -- Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, R-West Virginia, issued the following news release on Oct. 26, 2021:

U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) and a bipartisan group of her colleagues today expressed disappointment with the Pentagon's proposed timeline--of up to nine years--to implement the findings of the Independent Review Commission (IRC) on Sexual Assault to combat sexual assault and harassment in the military.
