WASHINGTON, Oct. 27 -- Sen. Mark Warner, D-Virginia, issued the following news release on Oct. 26, 2021:
Today U.S. Senators and India Caucus Co-Chairs Mark Warner (D-VA) and John Cornyn (R-TX) sent a letter to President Biden encouraging him to waive Countering America's Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA) sanctions against India for buying military arms from Russia.
They wrote: "While India has taken significant steps to reduce its purchases of Russia . . .
