WASHINGTON, Oct. 27 -- Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Maryland, issued the following news release:

U.S. Senators Chris Van Hollen and Ben Cardin and Congressmen Steny H. Hoyer, Dutch Ruppersberger, John Sarbanes, Kweisi Mfume, Andy Harris, M.D., Anthony G. Brown, Jamie B. Raskin and David Trone (all Md.) today announced $2,076,666 in federal funding to bolster crime prevention programs for local governments across the state.
