TALLAHASSEE, Florida, Oct. 23 -- The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity issued the following news:
Governor Ron DeSantis announced that the Jacksonville area added 32,400 new private-sector jobs over the year, a 4.9% increase. Jacksonville's unemployment rate dropped to 3.7% in September 2021, down from 5.2% reported in September 2020.
