WASHINGTON, Oct. 23 -- Sen. Jon Ossoff, D-Georgia, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff is continuing his push to reopen Cuthbert, Georgia's hospital, which was forced to close its doors in the middle of the pandemic due to financial strain.
In a letter to Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, Sen. Ossoff urged the Department to dedicate $9.3 million to help upgrade hospital infrastructure and reopen the facility.
