WASHINGTON, Oct. 19 -- Rep. Al Lawson, D-Florida, issued the following news release:
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced a primary agricultural disaster designation for counties in Georgia due to losses caused by Tropical Storm Elsa, excessive wind, and excessive rainfall that occurred from July 7, 2021. Under this disaster designation, producers in Columbia, Hamilton and Madison counties also qualify for benefits.
