WASHINGTON, Oct. 21 -- Sen. Susan M. Collins, R-Maine, issued the following news release:

U.S. Senators Susan Collins (R-ME) and Richard Burr (R-NC) wrote a letter to Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Director Rochelle Walensky and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Acting Commissioner Janet Woodcock asking for more data on the effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccines, particularly with respect to breakthrough cases.
