WASHINGTON, Oct. 21 -- Rep. Virginia Foxx, R-North Carolina, ranking Republican member of the House Education and Labor Committee, issued the following statement on Oct. 20, 2021, on Catherine Lhamon's confirmation as Assistant Secretary of Education for Civil Rights:
