WASHINGTON, Oct. 21 -- Rep. Markwayne Mullin, R-Oklahoma, issued the following news release on Oct. 20, 2021:
Congressman Markwayne Mullin (OK-02) highlighted the need for research and data collection to combat the high stillbirth rate in the United States during a House Energy and Commerce Health Subcommittee hearing today.
The United States is ranked 25th in number of stillbirths per capita out of 49 high-income countries, with nearly 21,500 babies stillborn in 2019.< . . .
