WASHINGTON, Oct. 20 -- Sen. Susan M. Collins, R-Maine, issued the following news release on Oct. 19, 2021:
U.S. Senator Susan Collins announced today that she secured $1,381,400 to expand substance abuse prevention and treatment services in the draft Fiscal Year 2022 Health and Human Services Appropriations bill that has been released by the Senate Appropriations Committee. The legislation must still be voted upon by the full Senate and House.
