WASHINGTON, Oct. 19 -- Sen. Thom Tillis, R-North Carolina, issued the following news release:
After urging the U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) to approve funding for New Hanover County beach renourishment, U.S. Senators Thom Tillis (R-NC), Richard Burr (R-NC), and Congressman David Rouzer (R-NC) announced the approval of funding for the Coastal Storm Damage Reduction (CSDR) project at Carolina Beach and Kure Beach.
