MARIETTA, Georgia, Oct. 16 -- Rep. Lucy McBath, D-Georgia, issued the following news release:

This week, U.S. Rep. Lucy McBath (GA-06) joined the Cumberland Community Improvement District (Cumberland CID), the Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT), and state and local leaders for a groundbreaking ceremony of a new access point to the popular Northwest Corridor Express Lanes at Akers Mill Road. McBath helped secure $5 million for the project in 2019.
