WASHINGTON, Oct. 13 -- Rep. Thomas Suozzi, D-New York, issued the following news release on Oct. 12, 2021:
Congressman Tom Suozzi (D-NY) announced that 108 Members of Congress have signed onto his letter calling on Speaker Pelosi to keep the $4,500 tax credit for union-built electric vehicles (EV) in the Build Back Better Act when it moves to the House floor. This effort led by Suozzi is backed by the United Auto Workers, the AFL-CIO, and domestic automakers.
