Congressman Tom Cole (OK-04), Ranking Member of the House Rules Committee, released the following statement after the U.S. House of Representatives approved a rule deeming passage of a measure to raise the public debt limit by $480 billion.
"I am deeply concerned by the method House Democrats used to raise the debt ceiling, skipping normal debate and bypassin . . .
