WASHINGTON, Oct. 7 -- Sen. Susan M. Collins, R-Maine, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Susan Collins met with Chris Cassidy, a York native and former astronaut who recently retired from NASA after 17 years of service. Captain Cassidy, who currently serves as the CEO of the National Medal of Honor Museum, was accompanied by LTC William Swenson, who received the Medal of Honor in 2013 for his valor in the Battle of Ganjgal in Afghanistan.
