University of North Texas Professor Finds Cancer Drug That May Provide Better Blood Clotting Treatment

DENTON, Texas, Oct. 7 (TNSJou) -- The University of North Texas issued the following news release:

A University of North Texas professor believes he has found a novel drug for treating potentially deadly blood clotting disorders.

Department of Biological Sciences professor Pudur Jagadeeswaran has been conducting research with zebrafish to isolate proteins that could be manipulated to treat blood clotting disorders in humans more efficiently with few side effects.
