WASHINGTON, Oct. 7 -- Rep. Sanford D. Bishop Jr., D-Georgia, issued the following news release:
Congressman Sanford D. Bishop, Jr. (GA-02) announced that the U.S. Department of Education has granted $520,131 to the Lower Muskogee Creek Tribe through its American Indian Vocational Rehabilitation Services Program.
"I am happy to support this investment by the Department of Education in our Native American community in southwest Georgia," said Congressman Bishop. . . .
