JUNEAU, Alaska, Oct. 7 -- Gov. Mike Dunleavy, R-Alaska, issued the following news release:

The State of Alaska is suing to force the federal government to recognize state ownership of submerged lands beneath four Interior rivers, continuing Governor Mike Dunleavy's defense of state sovereignty against federal overreach.
