WASHINGTON, Oct. 6 -- Sen. Jon Ossoff, D-Georgia, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff is leading the push for a new postal stamp to commemorate the life and legacy of his mentor, the late Congressman John Lewis.
In a letter addressed to the Citizens' Stamp Advisory Committee, Sen. Ossoff urged the Committee to recommend approval of a stamp highlighting the late Congressman's legacy as a leader and champion for civil and human rights.
