WASHINGTON, Oct. 6 -- Rep. Deborah Ross, D-North Carolina, issued the following news release on Oct. 5, 2021:
Representative Deborah Ross (NC-02) and Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) today introduced the bicameral Ransom Disclosure Act. The bill provides the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) with critical data on ransomware payments in order to bolster our understanding of how cybercriminal enterprises operate and develop a fuller picture of the ransomware threat.
