CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee, Oct. 5 -- American Water, a water and wastewater company, issued the following news release:
Tennessee American Water is accepting grant proposals through its Firefighting Support program, which provides financial assistance to uniformed, professional and volunteer fire departments. Grants of up to $1000 will be awarded to cover costs for equipment or training.
