WASHINGTON, Oct. 5 -- Rep. John Garamendi, D-California, issued the following news release on Oct. 4, 2021:

The House Committee on Foreign Affairs marked up and passed Congressman John Garamendi's (D-CA) bipartisan "Peace Corps Reauthorization Act of 2021" (H.R.1456). A committee markup is the final step before a bill may be considered by the full U.S. House of Representatives.
