PHOENIX, Arizona, Oct. 1 -- The Arizona Democratic Party issued the following news release on Oct. 1, 2021:
The total number of people in Arizona who have died of COVID-19 surpassed 20,000. Instead of implementing evidence-based measures to stop the spread and save lives, Gov. Doug Ducey has pushed unconstitutional mitigation restrictions, ignored public health experts, threatened local leaders, and undercut federal efforts to the detriment of Arizona children, workers, and families . . .
