U.S. Sen. Mark R. Warner (D-VA) issued the following statement after voting in favor of a stopgap bill to avert a government shutdown by keeping the government funded at current levels through December 3, 2021:
"I'm pleased to know that the government won't shut down tonight, but disappointed that we've once again been forced to resort to last-ditch . . .
