Tennessee Winter Wheat Production Up 73% From 2020

NASHVILLE, Tennessee, Oct. 1 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service - Tennessee Field Office issued the following news release:

Tennessee farmers harvested 23.4 million bushels of winter wheat during the summer of 2021 according to the Tennessee Field Office of USDA'S National Agricultural Statistics Service. This was up 73% from the previous year.

Yield is estimated at 71.0 bushels per acre, up 12.0 bushels from 2020. . . .
