Sen. Hassan Cosponsors Bipartisan Mental Health Access Improvement Act

WASHINGTON, Sept. 25 -- Sen. Maggie Hassan, D-New Hampshire, issued the following news release:

U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan cosponsored a bipartisan bill to allow older Americans access to licensed mental health counselors and marriage and family therapists through Medicare. By providing these mental health professionals the opportunity to participate in the Medicare program, this bill expands the number of mental health providers available to our nation's seniors.
