WASHINGTON, Sept. 28 -- Sen. Joe Manchin, D-West Virginia, issued the following statement:

U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) voted to fund the federal government through December 3rd, 2021 and pay the United States' bills without defaulting on loans by suspending the debt limit through December 16th, 2022.
