WASHINGTON, Sept. 23 -- Sen. Mark Warner, D-Virginia, issued the following news release on Sept. 22, 2021:
U.S. Sens. Mark R. Warner and Tim Kaine (both D-VA) today announced $9,595,563 in federal funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) to help fund projects at two airports in the Commonwealth. The funding does not require the standard 10 percent local match, thanks to the American Rescue Plan supported by Sens. Warner and Kaine.
