WASHINGTON, Sept. 23 -- Sen. Susan M. Collins, R-Maine, issued the following news release:

U.S. Senator Susan Collins, the Ranking Member of the Housing Appropriations Subcommittee, announced that Pine Tree Legal Assistance has received a total of $375,000 to assist individuals who believe that they have been victims of housing discrimination. This funding was awarded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Fair Housing Initiatives Program.
