Rep. Budd Proposes Amendment to Restore Afghan Weapons Reports

WASHINGTON, Sept. 22 -- Rep. Ted Budd, R-North Carolina, issued the following news release:
Rep. Ted Budd (R-NC) has proposed an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that would order the Department of Defense (DOD) to restore the publicly available accountings of military assistance provided to the Afghan security forces.
Much of this accounting was erased from some federal websites in August.
Rep. Budd said in a statement:
