WASHINGTON, Sept. 22 -- Sen. Benjamin Cardin, D-Maryland, issued the following news release on Sept. 21, 2021:
U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-Md.) and ranking member of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation Roger Wicker (R-Miss.), today introduced the Maritime Technological Advancement Act. The legislation would establish a grant program to develop, offer, or improve educational or career training programs for American workers in the maritime workforce.
