WASHINGTON, Sept. 22 -- Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, R-West Virginia, issued the following news release on Sept. 21, 2021:
U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) today sent a letter to U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Xavier Becerra urging him to add West Virginia to the department's Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. (EHE) initiative.
Neither West Virginia nor any of its 55 counties were included as Phase 1 jurisdictions of the EHE . . .
