WASHINGTON, Sept. 18 -- Sen. Mark Warner, D-Virginia, issued the following news release on Sept. 17, 2021:
U.S. Senators Mark R. Warner and Tim Kaine applauded $2,549,875 in federal funding from the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) for communities in Southwest Virginia. The funding, awarded through ARC's POWER (Partnerships for Opportunity and Workforce and Economic Revitalization) Initiative, will go toward three projects in the region to help spur economic diversificatio . . .
