WASHINGTON, Sept. 18 -- Sen. Mark Warner, D-Virginia, issued the following news release on Sept. 17, 2021:
U.S. Sens. Mark R. Warner and Tim Kaine (both D-VA), along with Rep. Elaine Luria (D-VA-02), sent a letter to U.S. Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland today requesting that she direct the National Park Service to accept a 40-acre donation of land that would enhance and protect the Fort Monroe National Monument.
