WASHINGTON, Sept. 16 -- Sen. Raphael G. Warnock, D-Georgia, issued the following news release on Sept. 15, 2021:
U.S. Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.) and U.S. Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-Miss.) today introduced a resolution to establish a national period to honor the sacrifices made by families of U.S. military servicemembers who lost their lives in service to the nation.
The bipartisan resolution designates Sept. 19-25, 2021, as Gold Star Families Remembrance . . .
