HOUSTON, Texas, Sept. 16 (TNSEve) -- The University of Texas's MD Anderson Cancer Center issued the following news release on Sept. 15, 2021:

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center will celebrate the life of trailblazing oncologist Emil J Freireich, M.D., in a virtual tribute on Sept. 23. The hour-long event will be available for viewing starting at 4 p.m. CT at mdanderson.org/FreireichTribute.
