WASHINGTON, Sept. 16 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release on Sept. 15, 2021:
U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) has awarded a $322,000 grant to the Village of Middleport to replace undersized waterlines with the correct size piping to carry the volumes of water and meet the demand and to secure three water well pits. The funds will help provide better service to 42 businesses and 857 households.
